Joe Kelley called New Year’s Eve. Haven’t been in touch since the show at the Kitty Moon. One of the best shows I’ve ever put together. But more about that some other time.
Our connection was breaking up. Joe said he just pulled into a parking garage, so I asked him to call me back when he had got out of there and 4 days later. I haven’t heard back from him. I’ll call when I get a chance. I’ve been kinda shut in since several major tasks came together and I decided no more shows, etc., until I’ve learned how to use this apparatus.
The transistor radio was the gadget of the times when I was in high school. So, once I found podcasts I began to learn how much I didn’t know. My only tech education has been podcasts.
Thanks to Professor David Malen at Harvard Extension and Leo’s bunch at TWIT, and Andy McKaskey & Todd Cochran, some of the CNET group, and of course Mitch Keeler, as well as, a host of others that I peruse now and then, I began to learn.
One thing I learned a year or so back, is that, I want my contribution to be on time, when I said it would be, and once I started, to continue regularly. So, this blog is the beginning. If anyone that comes across this, could help me get over some of the tech humps that I have yet to surmount I’d be pleased to hear from you.
And so it begins.
Thanks,
Fred
